After her sister died, Ara had to live with her cruel parents blaming her for her sister’s death. When a beast kills her parents, Ara is saved by two beast hunters, who take her into their care. She joins them on their journey and learns about different beasts and how to fight them and keep them away. Traumatized by her parent’s cruelty, she has a hard time trusting these men, but it does not take long before she understands that they only mean her well.
In a village, they meet a man, who is desperate for their help. He claims a beast is in his home, tormenting him. The beast hunters agree to help this man find the beast, and Ara becomes their apprentice.
The beast is hard to locate and seems to be unlike any other beast they have encountered before. In their search, they uncover that something else is plaguing the village as well. Their mission quickly becomes more challenging than they had imagined, and the fact that not everyone is as pleased by the presence of the beast hunters can turn into a massive obstacle for them.
“The Beast Hunters” is an exciting fantasy book filled with action and drama. This book gives the reader everything from deadly beasts, characters you either love or hate, and of course epic fight scenes. It is also quite easy to read, because there is always something new happening, making it hard to put the book away. This is a perfect read if you like fantasy books because it both takes you to a magical yet brutal world, as well as there are monsters and creatures you have never heard of, as well as some familiars. I would recommend this book to youths and young adults, and those who enjoy fantasy novels.
